BioI live with my husband and son in North Alabama. My husband is an art teacher and an incredible potter...you should own some of his work. As for me, I spend most of my free time bellydancing with our local performance troupe and music collective, Lumani, and teaching others the joy and bodily wonders of the dance. When I'm not at the studio, I'm at home with my husband and son...playing, reading, cleaning, cooking, laughing and trying to remember that love is the reason. On the weekends you can find me working at both our Madison County Little Gyms as a birthday party hostess.
My journal is mostly for me and my memories, but I love meeting new folks and reading about them as well. Feel free to friend me and play along.
If you're local and interested in bellydance classes, I teach weekly lessons at Nomadic Tapestry Movement Studio on Jordan Lane, the Matrix on Leaman Ferry Road, and at the University of Alabama in Huntsville's fitness center.
